Den 6 maj 2022 genomförde KSO ett seminarium på engelska med den finska kommunen Eurajoki där de aktuella kärntekniska anläggningarna ligger. Seminariet innehöll senaste nytt kring de kärnkrafts- och kärnavfallsanläggningar som byggts i Olkiluoto.
Information lämnades från både kommunen och näringslivet, TVO och Posiva. Det fanns även möjlighet för politiker/borgmästare/kommunalråd i KSO:s styrelse med flera att ställa frågor och föra dialog med sina finska. motparter.
Frågor om kommunikation med invånarna och andra intressenter är också av intresse. Representanter från Strålsäkerhetsmyndigheten, SSM. och företaget Svensk Kärnbränsle-hantering AB, SKB, medverkade också i seminariet. Inbjudna var även nätverket för europeiska kommuner med kärntekniska anläggningar, GMF.

On 6 May 2022, KSO conducted a seminar in English with the Finnish municipality of Eurajoki, where the facilities are located. At the seminar latest news was provided about the nuclear and nuclear waste facilities built in Olkiluoto.
The background to the virtual seminar is that KSO since 2020 has planned to visit Olkiluoto and the new nuclear and radioactive waste and Eurajoki municipality in Finland. This has not been possible because of the pandemic. Due to the turbulent situation in Europe in the spring of 2022, the board of KSO and Eurajoki municipality have once again decided to postpone the study trip/visit. Instead, the virtual seminar was conducted.
